Congratulations on the start of an innovated well-needed venture. I am encouraged by your passion to have Knowledge Makes Cents provide our children with the tools they need to be financially free. In my youth I didn’t have much knowledge about money. My parents did not teach the use of money. When I turned 18 I received my first credit card with no instructions. I thought it was free money. Of course it was not and I learned the hard way about interest rates and paying off credit cards. I was in trouble. I had to figure it out on my own. BUT if I had been given the knowledge/advice about money matters I would have been able to make better educated financial decisions. If I knew then, what you will be teaching our kids now – it would have been so helpful. I’m so glad you will be helping our children learn about money. I am so proud of this journey you are on to help our youth to provide them with caution rather than regret.
